Today, November 23rd, marks the 5 year anniversary for World of Warcraft, and weirdly enough the game gives the players presents.
It started during the weekend with people logging in and getting the achivement for logging in during the 5 year anniversary of WoW. If you then proceed to your mailbox you will also find a free pet, an Onyxia whelpling. So if you still haven't logged all your characters to get the achivement, hurry and do it. Also, happy anniversary World of Warcraft. This weekend is not only the weekend of WoW's "birthday" but also the time when the population of Azeroth goes out and celebrate the new holiday of Pilgrim's Bounty. This event will run from the 22-28th of November and you will find quests in all major cities (Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Undercity, Ironforge and so on), minor cities will also have some quests but it's only in the major cities you will be able to pick up dailies and such. There's tons of achivements and stuff to do - food fights, turkey hunting, so much cooking that you don't know what to do and more. A small tip for anyone who didn't level cooking yet, do it now. The event vendors sell everything you need to get well on the way in your cooking profession. MMOPlaying Links World of Warcraft Game Page - World of Warcraft News Page |
