Last week we reported that the Aion team discussed upcoming changes in the October Aion Community Address, now they've posted a preview of patch 1.5.1 on the official sites.
The patch notes are quite massive and there are changes to instanced dungeons, skills, NPC's behaviour, items and lots more. One of the changes they did dicuss in the October Community Address was the increase in experience for certain ranges in the game, which seems to be coming in this patch already. Increased the EXP reward of some quests.
- These quests include many quests in the [Elyos] regions of Eltnen, Theobomos and Interdikah, and the [Asmodian] regions of Morheim, Brusthonin and Beluslan, and also the [Elyos/Asmodian] quests in Reshanta. In another annoucement on the European Aion site, Ayase lets us know that that Aion will be coming to DreamHack Winter 09. DreamHack is a swedish PC festival that last for 3 days, and it's quite a big event. This winter the festival is taking place the 26-29 of November in Jönköping in Sweden. The Aion team will be "bringing an entourage of 16 fully decked out Aion gaming stations for anyone who hasn’t yet tried the game to DreamHack". The team will also be offering demo serial codes for people visiting their booth, so that you can get all your friends addicted to Aion as well. The codes will be good for three days or seven levels, whichever happens first. If you're close enough to get to Sweden for the days mentioned, maybe you should look into getting DreamHack tickets.
