One week after Blizzard released the Frozen Halls preview they now released the preview of Icecrown Citadel's raid instance.
Icecrown Citadel: The Frozen Throne offers the most spectacular challenge of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack so far and the players will have to make their way into the lair of the Lich King himself. The Frozen Throne will feature a 10 and a 25 people version, both with the option to be set to normal or heoric mode. The ilvls of the items range from 251 in the normal 10-people version (ilvl 264 in heroic 10 and normal 25) to 277 in the toughest version, the heroic 25-people version. As the heroes of horde and alliance make their way through the horrors that await them in Icecrown Citadel they will be doing a total of 12 boss encounters, including a horde vs. alliance airship battle. The players will be facing abominations, blood-princes, death knights, the frost wyrm Sindragosa and finally the Lich King and his Frostmourne.
