In a letter to the community a few days ago, Lance Stites the executive producer, discuss the state of Aion today. In the letter Stites talks about the ever so hot topic of the servers. People are still experiencing quite big queues to be able to play and in the letter it's also stated that the players of Aion are the number one priority and the team is doing everything they can so that the game can live up to peoples expectations. Stites also talks about what's been done so far to work around the issues people have to get online and that they have added servers so far and they will continue to evaluate and work on meeting the huge demand. In previous news posts on Aion's website we've been able to read that the team is working on offering character transfers. In the letter it's confirmed that this is being worked on for implementation in the beginning of next month. It's also stated, that more specifically, the team will offer a free one-time transfer to a selected number of servers for a limited time. So the next question may be “What about my character I’ve already spent time on?” Another good question. I’m excited to confirm that we are currently working on implementing a server transfer service beginning next month. Specifically, we will offer every player a free one-time server transfer for a limited time to select servers. The letter is a good read if you're interested in what's going on with Aion, be sure to read the letter. MMOPlaying LinksAion Game Page - Aion News Page
